For my AC - my first ASI will be 1 point into STR & 1 point into CHA, this gives me access to full plate (18 AC) :).I will definitely take Shroud of Shadows if my DM allows it (She's ok with XGtE stuff but UA is a little more hazy, unless shroud is in Xanathar's & I missed it).Ye, sadly she knows about Thirsting Blade & Extra Attack not stacking so I'll just take TB until it's no longer relevant :p but thank you for steering me clear of that potential pitfall! For Fighting Style, it's either going to be Defense (+1 AC), Great Weapon Fighter or Dueling, though I am leaning towards Defense because extra AC is always good (Especially when 19 AC may be my top end with a Greatsword)Oh does Improved Pact weapons allow 2 pact weapons? If so that makes Lifedrinker way more appealing! It also can reduce maximum HP, though the saving throw to negate it is rather pitiful. So I would never go more then 13 in warlock (and I'd probably never do that, but thats the minimum paladin iw ould take).New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castaid other tabletop gamers in creating memorable charactersLooks like you're using new Reddit on an old browser. 15th Level Paladin gives the Psychic damage reflect (& improved divine smite @11) which is interesting where the 14th level warlock gives Lifedrinker at 12th (& with +5 cha is slightly better than improved divine smite) as well as Master of Hexes at 14th which is an incredible defensive option. We are starting at level 1. It’ll be a life-saver!The level 6 ability is the most utility-focused one of them all.Starting at 6th level, you can curse the soul of a person you slay, temporarily binding it in your service. The healing aspect of this ability is by far the weakest part, and even that will heal for 4 at level 1; not exactly the worst, not exactly the best. See pages that link to and include this page.
