It's just the one time.
Directors don't always leave movie fans to wonder why a film began and ended the way it did - as these identical opening and closing shots reveal. There was some life shown there at the end, but it was a little too late by that point.
But The film has two main characters: Jon (Raúl Arévalo), a brilliant mathematician with serious mental issues;and Nico (Hugo Arbues), a 9-year-old boy who suffers fromJon’s story takes place at the beginning of April 2008, and the story of Nico, takes place 10 years later, at the beginning of April 2018. Jon, however, is revealed to be a schizophrenic, so they plant the idea in your mind that all of this is in Jon's mind.
It's not that the guy is a bad actor, it's just that the performance he gave wasn't what that character needed. Was this review helpful to you? So many elements, that you may find yourself wondering what just happened in the movie when the credits roll. Somehow the control tower must get a pilot aboard so the jet can land.

Instead of, you know, listening to her son and doing what she wants for his birthday, she just has to prove the point that she's the adult and basically forces her kid to enter this station.

I'm not a superstitious man in the slightest, this has been stated time and again in these reviews that I do, but I still liked that part of the story. He is a genius, but lost out on a promising scientific career because of his schizophrenia and had to settle for a job in a copy shop.
