The Jollof was excellent, the only thing I can think to compare it to is jambalaya. He was very friendly, talked to us a little bit about how we heard about this place, and about the food. All rights reserved. The owner came and talked to our table, explained the dishes, answered our questions, and made us feel right at home. Was exactly what I asked for. Will give it another chance though. Oh and the goat was tender too. The hostess even brought us some Rice Akara to try which are similar to banana fritters, and they were so good. The wait staff was wonderful as well!We walked into a very colorfully painted room with wonderful wall decorations. Very unique flavors with a satisfying bitter quality in many of the dishes. If your from the south or Louisiana you will definately feel the similarities for sure. While the menu is on the small side, everything on it is done very well. It was rolling! The restaurant was decorated fairly well in central to western African decor. I haven't felt this welcome at a restaurant in a long time. Lots of spice and flavor that keeps you wanting more even when you're stuffed to the brimThe food was very good here was greated promptly and had a at home feel to it.The food came to the table hot and was seasoned just right and the portions are are big enough to get you stuffed and have some to take home will be back again very soon.This restaurant is AWESOME.
