If you were to pick only two Bowie albums it would have to be Hunky Dory, followed closely with Ziggy Stardust. This is not an Irish pressing, looks like a standard UK pressing to me. I don't see myself ever being into expensive reissues like this though. The Man Who Sold The World Tried wood glue, but can you imagine the damage to the needle if you don't get all the wood glue off the record! It's a bit of a strange one; as I mostly have UK Orange label originals from quite a way back, but for Hunky Dory I have a Netherlands 1979 RCA Victor Orange label cat no: NL-14623 which has Rock Originals/Hunky Dory on the spine and label too. Have rca 2e 3e pressing no mainman very dull and flat 1 side.also have green rca and black label with barcode at back I prefer that pressing more engaging Pretty sure my eyes see an obscured GEM logo below the catalog number.

The second has a laminate front cover but also has the words "Hunky Dory", under that should read "David Bowie", then the Gemm logo, then under that "A Gemm Production" Both these have shiny orange RCA labels with The words "Bobil" & "Rasputin" scratched in small writing on the dead wax sides 1 & 2 respectively. ! Review Bowie brought twisted futurism, the English music hall and the Velvet Underground to the touchy-feely Singer-Songwriter genre on his first truly great album. there's evidence of something being obscured, but inconclusive. Fantastic! Sounds amazing, wouldn't even change it for a UK first press, I like it so much.
