Step into the boots of Grayson Hunt after a crash landing on an old resort planet forces him to make a hard choice: survival or revenge. Run ahead and cross the window floor quickly, as it will crack under your weight. Head back to the ship and give the parts to Doc. Use your kick to knock Skulls into the dam's turbines and gain hordes of easy points. Even with your new gadget, your Leash is the best bet in the next area for racking up Outburst and Friendly Fire Skillshots. When the torpedoes come, shoot them down to keep from dying. Travel with your two allies who will show the path through the crushed building. Head to the lift ahead and power it up. Shoot out the large disco ball above and move to the final fight. If the minigun runs low on charges you can resort to using the terrain for large amount of Outburst skillshots. Run like hell and give Ishi support to fix up the vulture, making your escape and ending the first Act. More Burnouts will attack, followed by a giant Burnout that will kill itself in a pool of fluid. After killing the enemies Head on and finish the Chapter. Also, enter the first building to destroy another robot. They can however be used against the enemies to confuse them as well. As you're attacked by Skulls use the cacti to gain some Pricked points.
You have only two minutes to make it to the escape ship as it flies off. The plants in the area will slurp up and eat up a lone Kreep, resulting in a critical event to gain some extra skillpoints. However, the main thing is to grab his dropped gun. Take them down with melee kicks to send them into the burning wreckage. Take some breathing room to collect another bottle before arriving at the Ulysses. Take cover to avoid fire and order the Mechaton to kill off the Skulls. Head down the stairs and repeat the same process. Just wait for him to open the door and continue on. Soon, the building will crumble and you'll need to run like mad.

You can also Leash and kick for some handy terrain kills such as Shocker. However, this will waken some natural beast in the distance. These new enemies will explode on impact, making it very important to kill them quickly. There are lots of Skulls here, but also lots of terrain hazards to score Vertigo and Voodoo points. Make a path through the wreckage by detonating explosive barrels and kicking scraps out of the way. But it's the non-shooting ways you kill people that make this game unique. A mingun boss will appear, so take him down and grab his gun to easily massacre the rest of the Skulls. Grab the sniper rifle and take down both groups of the enemies--there are less Kreeps, so it might be more helpful to leave them as distractions and kill off the Skulls first. You'll come to a nuke where Sarrano will instruct you how to disarm it. You'll be brought back to the present and will discover that Ishi is fairly scratched up. Fight together...or die alone. Move down the steps and quick time event the Mechaton's controls from the Skull's hands. Worse yet, some of them are too fast to be leashed. Switch to a Head Hunter rifle via a dropkit and out snipe the Kreeps; they will first attack from in front, then move to the other side of the room, forcing you to switch up your cover. You'll be separated from your allies and will have to go in alone for a bit.

A critical event reaction will pop up next, revealing a new Penetrator miniboss. After the battle, move ahead to gain some Shocker kills and a crictical event with Ishi. The Skulls won't be pleased and will deploy a few Vulture copters to flank your position. Order the Mechaton to clear a path through the two doors as you make your way up the ramp. Kreeps will appear from the rafters and take down the remaining Burnouts. There are tons of eggs that need to be shot up.
