Should the ancient evil chained here break free, all of reality will be consumed. So, does Arthas meet that criteria? It is during Wrath of the Lich King where we encounter Arthas’s willfully discarded Soul(who did not want to be discarded and infact wanted Arthas to redeem himself) still in the form of the Boy and having taken up the name Matthias Lehner. As for why we are able to see him: We were able to see the other Souls trapped inside Frostmourne outside the Runeblade itself as seen with Uther and the Souls we encounter inside the Halls of Reflection.By the time Arthas encountered Tichondrius both his Soul Fragment and his Body gained separate autonomy unable to control each other(and since the Body was the one moving around you can imagine it was the one making all the decisions despite the Soul Fragment’s attempts to give it a conscience) and eventually the Body decided to harvest the Soul Fragment as well as the other Soul bossing him around(Ner’zhul).Ner’zhul incidentally escaped the Runeblade back into the Helm of Domination according to Chronicle Vol.3 so Arthas(having shoved his Soul into Frostmourne causing it to become Matthias Lehner) decided to psychologically break him until he was a sobbing wreck.Throwing away(or rather harvesting) one’s Soul has benefits which include having psychological power over Souls like Ner’zhul’s due to ripping out one’s Empathy. She promised me justice,Uther: Devos convinced me that my death was wrong. Uther the Lightbringer was one of the characters announced to be part of the Shadowlands expansion during the announcement at BlizzCon 2019. Uther the Lightbringer Kyrian Covenant Questline (Story Spoilers) One of the first characters that were announced to make a return in Shadowlands during BlizzCon 2019 was Uther the Lightbringer. To Azerothains the answer would probably be yes, but the Shadowlands don’t exactly run on the principles of mortal morality. Maybe it’s saved for a future patch and that’s why it’s been unceremoniously dropped right now.Sounds like an ok enough story, nothing amazing. I don't like to complain , but the Thumbnail itself was a spoiler and it was not the first timeLike what the heck, thumbnail with Uther being hostile? We know that Arthas is in the Maw don't we? Grey conflicts simply do not exist with these writers.I’m solely going Bastion so I can get the Forsworn armor setHonestly, I’m just going there to get the Forsworn tint cloth set for my Shadow Priest, and the basic mail set for a Lightforged Hunter. That was a pretty disappointing ending to the first leg of the campaign. So the Forsworn were just evil and Maw-corrupted all along, and the Kyrian don’t have any sort of self-reflection at all that maybe their way of doing things is bad.Well, no. Giving Uther and co. their chance to intervene and decide things for themselves.“Vilest souls in cosmos” and “should ‘they’ break free, all reality will be consumed?” I don’t think Arthas fits that at all. Just before(ish) BfA.If Sylvanas was the one who broke the Arbiter then all that Devos blames the Archon for can be laid at her own feet!Another thing to note: The Maw corruption in Lysonia manifested as Pride. Without Frostmourne and the Crown of Domination, he was just some guy. "lmao a article showing story spoilers yet the thumbnail and pic give enough awayWe know we are getting additional soulbinds in patches. The realm name is delivered from Lord Uther the Lightbringer, or Sir Uther Lightbringer, the first paladin of the Knights of the Silver Hand who led his Order in battle against the Horde during the Second war. Arthas may well have had another fate decided for him by the Arbiter… or maybe his soul never reached the Arbiter in the first place. The Venthyr think everyone deserves a chance at redemption. One of the first characters that were announced to make a return in Shadowlands during BlizzCon 2019 was Uther the Lightbringer. I somehow missed that. Story spoilers.Considering the dungeon ends with the Kyrians discussing rethinking their whole approach to ascension and stripping of memories, I’m pretty disappointed it doesn’t seem to really come up with the covenant questline.I’m solely going Bastion so I can get the Forsworn armor set and RP rebelling against the Kyrians with a bunch of friends on WrA.Only going maldraxxus because of the mount myself, And turqeous (whatever its spelled idk) is a neat color.Aside Night fae seems too Furry for me, Kyrian felt like a toddler story tbh.

And the Archon seems open to the idea that this is something that their society can change and still perform their duties going forward. And Uther just punted him in there? And I think Arthas definitely has some special significance for the Jailer, because it is implied that the helm (and maybe the Frostmourne) were orginally Jailer's stuff and then Arthas took them for himself.
