I left the DC area 5 years ago and as soon as I got back on vacation I found myself nestled back at my favorite table near the back of the restaurant.
I just ask them to hold the large onions and try to make it "Laos" style. One unique thing they have that other Thai restaurants do not...We visited Thai Flavor for lunch over the weekend and had great food + great service.
Their papaya salad is also delicious and so is their green curry. I left MD in 2007 and still love coming back to my favorite Thai restaurant that provided me with so much comfort back in the day whenever I get the chance .. Contact the business for more information about recent service changes.How is this business handling reopening? I hope this restaurant takes review as constructive criticism. A great place to eat. I live in Philly and they have amazing Thai authentic restaurants. I never received a call but no worries, I will just call Thai Flavor and let them know that as frequent customer their food was off last night. They get the job done and that's all that matters right.I only order the shrimp fried rice from here . What safety measures are they taking?

I've never experienced anything bad as far as food goes from this place, and I've ordered almost everything from the menu. The quaint atmosphere, attentive and witty staff accentuates the delicate flavors of the far East. I came it 30 mins prior to closing after late day at work. May not speak English too well, but hey. I paid 14.95 plus tax for a big order of rice with 5 shrimp! We ordered the Spring Rolls to start.

The server quickly apologized and returned with what looked like forbidden rice. The Panang Curry was on point and what we were used to. (Amazing) The mussels were plump and to die for and the Flaming Beef was flagrant, flavorful and well seasoned. Satay Chicken (5pc) 7.95. After trying another Thai place in the area, I was skeptical I'd find another Thai place that I liked. They were small and only seemed to be filled with red cabbage. Thai curry was to die for! We ordered the Spring Rolls to start. One of our party ordered "Thai hot" Tom Yun soup, and it was a bit too...Tucked in what appears to be the dying section St Charles Mall, you will find the jewel of the orient. The wrapped grilled salmon is my favorite. It was around 12:30 on a Friday when I visited this location and there were only 2 other tables. It sits in an outlet with some stores that you'd never go to (Honey Baked Ham and a liquor store I think) Awesome Place, Food, and Great service. We wondered if we'd wandered into another pretend Thai restaurant.
One older man serving. I just ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and this is what I got. Their food is authentic Thai. The red curry with shrimp was excellent as well with bamboo strips, Thai eggplant and basil leaves. Like are you serious! Cost $75 for two people (approx.)
I already like my ginger tea.. big bar area. I called food scooter to let them know what happened and that I didn't want anything I just felt I needed to make them aware. I visited this restaurant on two different occasions and both times they failed in pleasing my taste buds. I must say that the food was really good.

Not too busy.. they give u a lot of hot spices to add onto your food. Thai Flavor has been serving up traditional Thai dishes that are both appealing to the eye and taste buds. Very impressedSo I had to update my review. I ate my entire bowl of curry and we had a few bites left of the Panang that I took home and ate the next day. Love the lemon grass soup and drunkin noodle.Awesome place, great service and atmosphere.
We didn't want to put the server out because we'd already had her change the white to brown so we just shared the one white rice. Not ordering from here ever again. My girlfriend and I shared the Curry Puffs, a noodle seafood dish and a curry.
