After Blind Melon recorded a four song demo called In late 1991, Blind Melon decided to leave Los Angeles to record its debut album since they felt the city did not reflect their music style.

This reissue of the blind melon debut on vinyl is very good it is done by music on vinyl which generally dont dissapoint but its not as good as the current analog spark reissues of soup and nico but with that said it is nicely done vinyl sounds great and it still deserves 5 stars in my book but those analog spark reissues really go the extra mile

The first single from the album, No Rain, was a catchy tune, but it didn't do justice to the complexity and brilliant playing to be heard on the rest of the tracks.

The album is also very well recorded and mastered in the form I have it which is 0777 7 96585 2 7 CD. Musicians like those of Blind Melon are hard to come by these days.
