I was very impressed with her acting.

You may think at first that perhaps she’s maturing, she’s going to approach this like an adult, calmly and with caution.

I'm not sure I understand how two able-bodied people get moved around while intermittently handcuffed and gagged by ONE person, drugged or not (the drugs aren't having that much of an affect). Divorces happen every day for some of the reasons in this movie. Success is the best revenge not murder. When a heart surgeon is found dead, investigators uncover his new wife's history of violence. There's a reason why the first jury could never convict her. The prosecutor, Carey Wells was a third rate attorney who graduated from a law school with the lowest bar performance in the country.

True Story Based, awesome movie. Incredibly this film actually spawned a sequel! After following several lines of inquiry far more unravels including a streak of violence below the surface. Betty Broderick literally had NO identity beyond that of being a man's wife. And one reason only. She used her daughters key to get into the house when the kids were with her in the middle of the night and went and shot them both, but then kept telling all the lawyers that she was the victim. She'll stop at nothing to achieve her goal - and the consequences will be explosive. You can somewhat tell that this is a low budget movie.

Very doubtful that Mrs. Broderick referred to her as "sharp as hell".
