An uplifting tale, where the heroine wins out and the villain fails (screw you Miss Minchen!) Like the protagonist, Sara, Lottie has no mother. Now, I find it even more beautiful than I was able to appreciate then. A child would love it because it has some very clear themes and a beautiful story, but adults would enjoy it too because there are also some more sophisticated aspects.At four years old, Lottie is the youngest girl in Miss Minchin's seminary.
