Not sure when they poped up around here but being a Professional Chef and having my own business I can relate to the hole in the wall restaurant aka off the path... a diamond in the dust. There's also Thai dishes on their menu. It will be my go to place for sushi when I am in town. Great service as well!I will start off with saying, I don't eat raw sushi, but I do eat Thai food!

I guess it would be good for kids. Everything was great definitely coming back.Great place to get vegan sushi, summer rolls, dumplings, curry, and drunken noodles.

Kawa is ok! Over an hour and no food or wine. We order anything from the sushi, salads, rice or poke bowls and it's always fantastic!! Beautiful Alaska yum! Sushi rolls are particularly tasty.

The chicken katsu & udon were both generous portions. Wife had sushi that was fresh and presented wonderfully. Miami Roll, Thai Green Curry, Tempura Chicken and Noodles were all really good.

My friend had Pad Thai and loved it.

Check out the 8.99 rolls in the back....great deal. I guess my expectations are cali style sushi and have not came across yet. Some of the best sushi I have eaten. Mother-in-law has the Basil chicken fried rice. Would definitely recommend.We stopped on a Friday here based on other reviews.

The restaurant, like the food that I had, is bland but I ordered take-out and the hostess/waitress was cheerful and pleasant. A little surprised at how good this unassuming Palm Coast Thai/sushi place was!

In our experience, service was always attentive as long as its not that crowded (and you are...The staff is mostly family, and very nice. We were seated and immediately ordered one of the special rolls on the board the second we sat down. But possibly not. Well I wasn’t disappointed! Mine did not but I ordered a ginger salad a la carte.

Gotta try the sushi pizza. The curry has way too much fish sauce and is salty.Their prices have increased and quality has gone down. Their sushi prices can’t be beat, and the quality is outstanding! Try perfectly cooked chicken sushi, seaweed salads and shrimp tempura.It's nice to order good wine.Delicious bubble tea or great thai tea are among the most often ordered drinks at Kawa Sushi.

Very tasty and fresh!

Kawa Sushi is a small understated Asian restaurant in a shopping...I went by myself, say at the sushi bar, it was fantastic. A cucumber appetizer was brought for the table to share which was tasty and refreshing. Save. Mostly everything has a lot of fried tempura batter in it too. Overall, the food was acceptable. I never have high hopes for East Asian food down south (I'm from the NYC region and there's just no comparison) but everything was surprisingly delicious!!
