He is really nice and just wants students to understand the subject. It's important to go to class b/c not everything is covered in the book. 79%. Only has a midterm and final and they're both easy and straight forward.

He is engaging and helps students to simplify class materials. 3 extra credit which gives you 3% of your grade!!!! He can break down any complex idea/concept/whatever for you. He knows the material like the back of his hand and knows how to teach it as well. Would take again.

Take him!He is just amazing! She is a great professor and this is a really awesome class. Easiest A of my college career. his lectures are chill and goes off on tangents everyday but the examples he uses WILL showup on the midterm/final. He has lecture slides for every class and draws on the board to give examples.

Taking good notes matters heavily! I wish I could take this class 100 times. ... Dr. Palmer was by far my favorite professor in my college career thus far.

Quizzes after every topic taught, 1 midterm, and 1 final. Taken his 2 classes. Gives lots of chance for students to do well. He's my first professor of the day and boy, is he boring. dont bother with the textbook.

! There are quizzes for every chapter which we spend half a class period reviewing for (super easy). Lectures are the best because he really knows what he's talking about. I would recommend him! Evan Palmer. You will be doing a lot of hands-on projects, but they are actually really fun. I would recommend going to class because he breaks down everything you need to know. My favorite professor at SJSU by far. Rate Professor Van Selst. Weekly quizzes are SO helpful and many of the questions show up on the test. She is extremely caring and love what she does. Super enthusiastic about the subject and knows what he's talking about.Prof. Take a class with him if you can!Not a lot of work. He's extremely passionate about his work, but the way this class is taught is more at a graduate level of teaching. I signed up thinking this, but it's really just a ton of bio & learning about the eye & different types of vision. He knows the material like the back of his hand and knows how to teach it as well. Tests are extremely difficult due to heavy lecture.If you are expecting this class to be about intellectual perception & why people view the world in different ways, DO NOT take this class!
