Singularity Sky (Eschaton, #1), Iron Sunrise (Eschaton, #2), and Timelike Diplomacy: Singularity Sky / Iron Sunrise

The plot could be a bit 'jumpy' at times, with the occasional loss of focus and direction.
I find time travel a bit confusing, as do many of the characters in this series. A continuation of the previous two “Infinity Engines” books, the further adventures of Josh and his compatriots as they attempt to figure out what the heck’s going on with the timeline and how to fix it.

Easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys time travel stories.

It starts as a time travel novel with a reasonably interesting premise and main character (hence the two stars), but gradually throws in a nearly incoherent medley of demons, ancient gods, magic talismans, muttered spells, and on and on and on. I like the historical twists & turns , extremely entertaining. Actually can’t wait to read it again.

Same as the other books in the Infinity Engine series, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat, wanting more, looking forward to the next instalment

Not sure it works well in a novel, and breaks things up too much meaning there's a loss of flow, I think.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 15, 2020 Finished this third book in 2 days - devoured it more it!

Personally if a book becomes hard work to read and the story too complicated I loose interest. I enjoyed the first book in the series, the second one not so much and this third one not at all. I think my enjoyment was very much because I enjoy the characters of Caitlin and Josh and already want to see what happens to them. The Oblivion Order is falling apart, and the timeline is beginning to unravel.
