There also are some ways to lower saving throws then use a spell that needs that saving throw. I understand the narrative implications of a player bearing the extinct Dragonmark.

However, I'm having trouble putting the spell list together to be in line with the other Dragonmarks. By the way, we play D&D 3.0.Death Ward may be a kinda useless spell within the regular games. I don't have recommendations, but you're already deep in homebrew letting the class be played.

However, there are no "save or die" spells. The guy died with an utter terror on his face. Creatures with more than 8 Hit Dice are immune to this spell with the exception of summoned creatures, which are automatically slain. Inflict wounds cast at high lvl would leave no mark right? One problem, that it does look like you tried to address some with the spell list, is that non-aberrant marks are inherently constructive, not destructive.
It's right in the name. Some Dragonmarks don't have two spells at all levels (eg Mark of Storm). Death spells! I would like the subrace to be in line with the other mark subraces including a spell list.The one presented in Morgrave doesn't have Spells of the Mark and the associated feats only supply gentle repose, speak with dead, spirit guardians, danse macabre, and revivify.
